History

B.A. HomeScapes once opened its doors as "B.A. Window Designs" in 1989 designing and sewing custom window treatments and decorating accessories. With a growing business and a growing family, B.A. was soon on the move and leased a second storey workroom and office space in downtown St.Marys for a short time before moving to 166 Queen Street, in 1991, where B.A. Window Designs evolved into B.A. HomeScapes offering a complete line of interior decorating products.

In 2001, after operating and managing a retail store and a custom drapery and consulting business for 9 years, life was speaking, "to do a few things well- give up many" and in July 2001 Betty Anne closed the retail division of B.A. HomeScapes at 166 Queen St.

We are available by appointment...for in home consulting and decorating, custom blinds, shades, california shutters, upholestry, custom furniture...

The two biggest changes that we've seen would be the evolving aid of the internet, Betty-Anne states that, "the world is so small" with virtually unlimited access to a wide variety of different suppliers and products. The second would be remote controlled and motorized window coverings.

Our mission of customer service is what sets us apart. We like to have integrity, compassion and an acknowledgement and understanding of the individual needs of each and every client consulted and served. We strive to be creative and have an eye for the details. We are always trying new things and open to new ideas and products. We understand that today's success may not be tomorrow's success and adapt our products and services accordingly.

Betty Anne has a wide range of suppliers and different products that are available through Hunter Douglas, Fine Craft, and Eclipse Shutters; as well as numerous fabric suppliers, including Joanne Fabrics, Maxwell Fabrics, and Alendel just to name a few.
